A book about a gorgeous girl that hid an illness of pain and suffering until she was 36. She found out she was disabled at 36 with a chronic pain illness, muscular dystrophy and breast cancer by 40. She is a soul sister of breast cancer and she will do anything for anyone with an illness. She married a surgeon and together blended their families and made an empire. They blended their families and they had three children together. She met him on match.com and she was entirely happy. She found out that motherhood and philanthropy is the most important aspects of her life with a focus on God. With a terminal illness called Pompe disease, she spends her entire life with three of the same doctors. Dr. Tim Lubenow, from Rush University Medical Center and Dr. Richard McDonough is at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. Dr. Priya Kishani is her "Pompe" doctor. Melissa has a rare amount of essential enzyme called GAA. Unfortunately, it causes her a lot of pain and weakness. She has “inspirational” stories to share on surviving, divorce, disability, cancer, love, marriage, Pompe Disease and living alone with a disability. We feel that divine intervention is keeping her alive with muscular dystrophy.
